Light Reiki
Reiki is the Japanese word for Universal Life Force Energy. When the "Rei" and "Ki" are broken down into their two component parts, the Kanji (Japanese alphabet) definition for "Rei" is "the universal, transcendental spirit, mysterious power and essence. "Ki" is described as the "vital" or "universal" life force energy similar to the "Chi" of Chinese Acupuncture, the "Light" or "Spirit" to Christians and as "Bioplasmic Energy" to Russian researchers. Who Has Reiki? We all have Reiki energy (also known as Universal Life Force Energy), for it is our birthright. What makes Reiki different from other healing methods is the attunement (also known as the initiation) process which the student experiences during the various levels of Reiki classes. Anyone can lay his or her hands on another person and help accelerate the healing process by transferring magnetic energy. A person who has been through the process of Reiki attunements however, has experienced a very ancient technology for fine tuning the physical and etheric bodies to a higher vibratory level. In addition, certain energy centers (also known as chakras) are opened to enable the person to channel and vibrate higher amounts of Universal Life Force Energy. How Does a Reiki Session Work? When a Reiki Master lays his or her hands on a client during a treatment, the client will draw appropriate amounts of energy to whichever areas of the body that needs it. Reiki Masters are never drained in the process as they too are treated as they "give" treatments because Reiki energy is never sent. Rather, it is drawn through the Reiki practitioner. The energy enters at their crown chakras and passes through the upper energy centers to the heart and solar plexus. The rest of the energy then passes through the arms to the hands where it is transferred to the recipient's body on an "as needed" basis.

is with much gratitude that I write this testimonial on behalf of Janice
Gilpin. For over a year and a half, I have been seeing Janice on a regular
basis. There have been noted improvements in my health, spiritual awareness
and overall well-being. Janice is an integral part of my life and over time
has become a wonderful friend as well as mentor to me. As a massage therapist, I approached my initial session out of curiosity as opposed to someone seeking pain relief for health issues. As soon as the session started, I felt heat pouring out of Janice's hands onto my face. Session, $20 for 20 minutes
Reiki can be received as often as needed. The first 3 sessions should be no more than 21 days apart. Maintenance is recommended once a month or as needed. Training Level I $175.00 Level II $275.00 Level III $375.00 Master Level $500.00 Cancellation Policy: 24 hour notice is requested for cancellations except in emergency situations. A $25 fee will be charged for late notification and/or failure to make your appointment.
